Lunar C To Return For Don't Flop's "Checkpoint 2"

Don't Flop announces Charron, Marv Won, Carter Deems, 100 Bulletz and more for its April 25 event in London.

The wishes of legions of U.K. battle rap fans are coming true. Lunar C, the Don't Flop battler turned rapper, is stepping back into the ring. He'll be facing off against another crowd favorite, Oshea, at Don't Flop's "Checkpoint 2" in London on April 25.

Lunar was incredibly popular during his stint in the U.K. league, and the two rose to popularity on a national level together. His unique blend of swagger and comedy was an instant hit and his six appearances on Don't Flop average about one million views per battle with the highest being against Uno Lavoz, which is currently around 1.9 million. The West Yorkshire rapper hasn't battled since 2012, but remains in four of Don't Flop's ten most popular videos (and it would be five if one hadn't been flagged and removed from the channel).

The rest of the card features a lineup of popular emcees from around the U.K., the U.S. and Canada. Follow the artist tags at the bottom of this article for more info on any of the names.

U.K. freestyle expert Dotz will take on Charron in an on-beat battle, Shuffle-T and 100 Bulletz will settle what has become a bit of a grudge match, and Big J will get another international opponent in Marv Won.

The event will also mark the U.K. debuts of lovable Atlanta rapper Carter Deems and the incredibly frenetic Michael White, from Texas.

Some rookies are getting more limelight on the main stage too, with Gemini getting a shot at Unanymous and Willzy squaring off against Take Note Tox.
