T-Rex Addresses Missing Danny Myers Battle

T-Rex says a legal issue stopped him from appearing at a scheduled battle last month.

T-Rex has confirmed that an arrest last month was the cause for him missing a scheduled battle against Danny Myers at Black Ice Cartel's "Battle On Olympus" event in Milwaukee. The battle was secured thanks to Myers putting up $12,000 of his own money and Rex now says that his only obligation is to his opponent, not the league.

In a new interview with 15 Minutes of Fame, Rex breaks down the mishap and claims that the battle will take place in some form or another.

"Me and Danny was never really on bad terms or nothing," Rex said. "Danny know my situation. I got a legal situation. [Got] bailed out of jail. When I came home I reached out to the nigga. How it was going was, the platform we was supposed to be doing it on was talking kind of crazy, like, 'Yo, your man this. Your man that.' That rubbed me wrong because I don't owe nobody nothing but Danny Myers. So I don't give a fuck whose platform it happen on. We could do this shit on the corner. This the nigga I owe the money to. I don't owe nobody else nothing."

As for where fans can expect to see the battle, the Dot Mob rapper added that he's currently in the process of negotiating to reschedule.

"Me and Danny know what's happening," he said. "We know what's happening. We putting it together. It's going down. It's gon' be an epic event and I'm gonna fuck him up like I was gonna do from the beginning."

Later in the interview Rex promised to bring his best foot forward against Myers.

"The shit that I got for him is gon' put him down," he said. "God saved him. I ain't arrest myself. God saved him."
