Brookyln battler Steams spoke with BattleRap.com at the beginning of URL's hugely successful "Rookies vs. Vets" in New York on March 28. "It’s gonna be a fuckin’ movie in here man… If you fuck with battle rap, this is where you wanna be… This is the shit,” he said early in the day.
Steams gave spoke about the event itself, his next steps in the URL and his recent battle with Rum Nitty, which Danny Myers dubbed the greatest of all time after seeing it live.
"Best battle I’ve ever been in, hands down… The intensity, everything, it was an exact duplicate of the feeling I had from battling Brooklyn Carter, and me and Carter had… personal history. Me and Rum didn’t know each other and we got that feel… It came from nothing."
The interview also features a brief appearance from Nunu Nellz, directly after she was the brunt of some vicious material from John John Da Don in his battle with Prep.
