Following a public call for a possible Slaughterhouse versus URL rappers battle at the upcoming Summer Madness event, SMACK/URL co-manager Norbes and Slaughterhouse emcee Royce Da 5’9 exchanged words on Twitter on the possibility. During the back-and-forth, Norbes brought up similarities he noticed in the Aftermath group’s upcoming Total Slaughter series to URL’s own style.
Aye who know Norbes twitter? Tell him I said NEGRO PLEASE in Sho Nuff voice..

In the midst of the exchange, Norbes commented on what he says is a seemingly URL-borrowed voiceover style in the trailer for Total Slaughter.

Yesterday, Battle Rap reported on Norbes’ comments regarding the possibility of pitting Slaughterhouse against a team of URL rappers.
“I like Slaughterhouse,” he said. “Crooked I’s my favorite, and I like Joey. I’m not gonna front. Those are my two niggas. Having said that, I’m gonna make a call out. If their four wanna do it against my top four at Summer Madness—‘cause this is where it counts, on SMACK—I’ll take the four that we pick and it really is gonna be a slaughterhouse…Before anybody thinking I’m hating or whatever, I respect what them niggas do. I’m a fan of their music. But if their four members would come to SMACK and I grab my four guys—I’m gonna repeat this shit—it is really going to be a slaughterhouse.”
