Caustic Admits Ghostwriting For Arcane

“I lied. I definitely sold Arcane down the river."

In an exclusive interview with BattleRap.Com, Caustic admits that he lied when he initially denied ghostwriting Arcane’s verses during his King Of The Dot, Blackout 3 battle with Dizaster.

“I lied off top,” Caustic says in the conversation. “I lied. I definitely sold Arcane down the river. Fuck him you’re not my fucking friend… I just didn’t want to get caught up in the drama, I didn’t think me lying about it would fully tornado me into the drama full on.”

During the Blackout 3 battle, Dizaster presented a document showing Caustic and Arcane negotiating the fee for ghostwriting. Caustic says ghostwriting for Arcane was his “one regret” and that he should’ve said “fuck you” immediately.

Caustic also reveals that he is not allowed in Canada anymore and he’s tried to get Arcane for an event but “the money wasn’t right.”

While speaking about the prevalence of ghostwriting in Battle Rap, Caustic says “it’s apart of Rap. It always has been…Ghostwriting is a blurred line on what it is and what it’s not.”

Caustic will battle with Dirtbag Dan against Marlo & Shuffle T at KOTD’s “Battle Of L.A. 5.”
