Charron Explains How Eminem's "Total Slaughter" Impacts Battle Rap

Charron says "Total Slaughter" could also have a great influence on Dizaster and Daylyt's careers.

Eminem's Road To Total Slaughter aired its first episode yesterday (June 18). Following the first airing of the Battle Rap series on Fuse, Charron spoke with HipHopDX about how he feels the show impacts Battle Rap.

"It helps Battle Rap expand and reach a completely different fan base," Charron says. "It also bringing excitement and that competitive drive back to battling. A lot of emcees masquerade their losses with promo battles while picking up some quick money. Total Slaughter is forcing emcees to either step up their game or take a legitimate loss.

Charron says this series also has the potential to help some of the emcees who are part of Total Slaughter.

"[The show] also allows characters like Dizaster and Daylyt to showcase their outrageous personalities and perhaps get picked up for other reality shows," he says.

Road To Total Slaughter is set to air in promotion for the upcoming Total Slaughter event, slated to feature Joe Budden's battle with Hollow Da Don and Loaded Lux's rematch against Murda Mook.
