Math Hoffa On Daylyt's Antics: "That's What I Wanna See From [Him]"

"I was at a battle...he came out as Vegeta," Math Hoffa said. "Why the fuck would i want to see you rap regular at all when you can do some shit like that?"

Speaking on fellow battle rapper Daylyt and his antic-driven approach, Math Hoffa suggested that fans no longer care about his lyrics. Speculating about Daylyt’s performance in a yet-to-be-released battle against Charlie Clips, Math Hoffa said he doesn’t want to “see Daylyt battle unless he does something crazy.”

“If he don’t come out in a skirt I think Clips wins,” Math said in an interview with VladTV. “It’s just gotten to the point where that’s what you do my nigga. That’s what you do. Shit is entertaining. I was at a battle a weekend ago...He came out as Vegeta. He had the tights and all that...I was like, ‘Oh shit.’ Why the fuck would I want to see you rap regular at all when you can do some shit like that? I wanna see him come out as Kermit the Frog or some shit. That’s what I wanna see from Daylyt. Otherwise, what’s the point? It’s like you’ve desensitized people to your lyrics. You’ve made them extra curious about what you’re gonna do, the gimmick and all that.

“I don’t know, against Charlie, I think he should come out dressed like a fucking chef or some shit,” Math Hoffa added. “It’s gotta be some crazy shit. Barbeque onstage or something, otherwise I'm not gonna care.

“Dragon Ball Z, Ku Klux Klan member, the Matrix, this is what he’s known for,” Hoffa said of Daylyt’s past antics. “So, who the fuck wants to hear him rap at this point? Just do some crazy shit dog. That’s it. You win with that shit...So yeah man, if Daylyt don’t come out dressed like Rihanna I don’t care. I think Star Wars is gonna be his next thing. Darth Vader or some shit like that. It’s in the realm of the geekness. He did Dragon Ball and all that, it’s close by. Star Wars gotta be next.”
