On July 12, Murda Mook and Loaded Lux will battle each other for the second time in New York City.
The two went head to head in 2003 during a showing from the SMACK DVD series with the fans deciding who won. To this day the winner is still being debated and the battle is regarded as a classic. Now that the rematch is near and Battle Rap fans have been making predictions, Murda Mook had a couple things to say on Watch Loud’s “The Chopping Block.”
“I just want to address a couple things,” Murda Mook said. “I hear y’all niggas talkin’ out there and all that, you know what I’m sayin. I hear the whispers, you know, Mook lost it, and you know what I mean, did Mook lose it, is Mook gone? You know what I mean, is he going to be the new Mook, is it gonna be the old Mook, you know what I’m sayin’. Lux is too good for Mook, you know what I mean. Mook can’t beat Lux and shit.”
Murda Mook questioned Battle Rap fans and followers of the first battle.
“Imma destroy that nigga man. I’m tellin’ you. Like, I keep tryin’ to tell niggas when they fuckin’ underestimate me man. They’ve been doin’ that shit since forever, since as long as I can remember, you know what I’m sayin’? I aint gonna lie man, Im tired of it,man, I’m sick of it. What do I gotta do to make you niggas respect and appreciate me man, you know?
“July 12th imma answer all y’all questions man, and then some,” he continues regarding the rematch. “I’m not comin’ to play,” …, “I would expect the same from him (Murda Mook), you know what I’m sayin’, we don’t want to cheat the fans,” …, “It’s going to be some real live shit.”
Murda Mook finishes his “service announcement,” as he called it, by stating, “Lux you dead nigga, easy.”
