KG The Poet Reacts To Dizaster & Math Hoffa Fight

"Diz you not living right, my nigga. That shit was extra," said KG The Poet.

Two days later Battle Rap figures and fans are still reacting to the Dizaster and Math Hoffa fight (June 28). The fight has reached almost 2 million views on Worldstar within 48 hours. URL/KOTD battle rapper KG The Poet, one of the BOLA5 participators, speaks on the incident in a video posted to YouTube.

“What East Coast niggas need to know," KG says, "is that this situation, it didn't just fuck up over Math {Hoffa], or [Charlie] Clips—who kind of got in the way for breaking this shit up—but this fucked up the King of the Dot, Fresh Coast staff money the same way. I mean, this event was over, the lights was over. It was the last joint of the last round of the last battle. Niggas was already leaving out the door. I'm seeing club owners shaking hands like, 'Alright we had a successful event. Everybody made their money, no issues, no nothing and then this shit happened."

He continues to address the event and sharing his perspective on the issue. He focuses on the business aspect of the situation and what consequences will arise due to the fight.

"On some business shit, my nigga, you (Dizaster) fucking up money," he said.

He also believes that future potential investors who were previously interested in Battle Rap events are now scared to make that investment. Not only did he opine on future investors, he also said that Battle Rap fans are making the mistake in continuing to publicize the fight.

“Niggas that's not a part of this movement who's just on the outside looking in," he says. "I'm talking fans-wise, y'all don't understand making comments like that, that moves away from future investments. People see that shit."

Math Hoffa and Dizaster both appeared on Eminem’s reality show, Road To Total Slaughter, and KG The Poet recognizes that they have a lot of fans watching them.

"These is the top tier niggas that niggas is praising and I understand niggas want to get their views up to get to the next joint and I don't know if it's so much about that as it is that cameras just happened to be there," he says.

KG continues: "But y'all niggas need to be more aware of your surroundings. What was you trying to prove? Was the fight going to stop off one hit? You knew that you was gonna involve other niggas. If you felt a certain way about Math, you was supposed to catch that man either before the venue, outside them cameras or after the venue."
