Offering his reaction to Dizaster’s punching Math Hoffa at the BOLA 5 event over the weekend, KOTD West Coast President Aspect One spoke exclusively with Battle Rap and said he wants to see the parties involved “fix this problem.”
“Diz, I’ve known for 15 years,” he said. “I thought that was the most pussy move you could have ever done. If you was really about that fight and being about that fight, you would have fought him in New York when Total Slaughter was in the house. You feel me? It was only other battle rappers, it wasn’t your goons there with you. And I fuck with his goons. But your goons fucked up that night. Ya’ll fucked up. No matter how you look at it. I don’t care.”
Speaking on the public perception of the fight, Aspect One went on to describe why he thinks it pushes a bad image for Battle Rap in general.
“For us to be hosts of L.A., ambassadors, faces of this shit, Black faces that motherfuckers are looking for like, ‘Yo dude, you fools can’t get along anyway. You motherfuckers are monkey and whatever the fuck else.’ That’s how the fuck we look like on camera,” he said. “We look like a bunch of pussy-ass fools jumping somebody who came out here by himself. Came to the venue with one person. You guys didn’t even fucking let it be fair, like, let him get down on his own. Let Diz fight him by himself outside of the venue, outside of King of the Dot shit without fucking up our equipment. You don’t give a fuck about $80,000 you motherfuckers just fucked up. But you probably wanna fight me over this interview. This is real shit because it’s stupid bullshit. You think we safe if we go to fucking New York? You think we safe if I go out to New York and chill? What the fuck is ya’ll doing this for? How am I gonna book you for battles? How is anybody from New York gonna respect what the fuck what ya’ll did?
“The first time Math punched somebody, it’s ‘cause they hit him with their fucking brow,” he added. “You see it. And he told homie, ‘Back out my face’ and the fool said something and they got into it.”
Addressing his more than decade-long relationship with Dizaster, Aspect One also hinted that the punch was completely out of character.
“Diz, you are not about that motherfucking life bro,” he said. “You have never punched somebody in a battle. In the 15 years that I’ve known you, white tee, fucking dressing-like-Sisqo Diz to change-your-whole-steez Diz. I’ve known you fool. I treated you like a fucking brother.”
During his interview with Battle Rap, the KOTDWC President also detailed his ground-view perspective of the fight itself.
“Myself and a couple other people are in the mix,” he said. “Daylyt is holding my arm back on camera. I thought he was trying to break it up. He’s holding my arm back, laughing. This not real, you fools all fucked up. We fucked up as a coast. Myself as the leader of the Fresh Coast, Lush, Active, Daylyt, Dizaster. We all fucked up.”
When asked about moving forward after the incident, Aspect One said he wants to “see motherfuckers fix this problem.”
“I wanna see fools go to New York and go to an event and get love for it,” he continued. “Not New York, pack’em out, beat’em up on some crazy shit. I wanna see motherfuckers like Diz go to New York and Sara Kana, Poison Pen, and Smack be like, ‘Yo, you fools are protected when the wolves could really get’em.’”
