Daylyt's Total Slaughter Spawn Antic Explained

Daylyt responds "only a few will understand my plans."

Troy Daniels, also known as KOTD's King Fly, made a Facebook recently (July 14) detailing the story behind the actual Spawn character in the series of Todd McFarlane.

Troy Daniels' post said the following:

So how many of you actually KNOW the story of Spawn and things that happened in that series?
Did you know that Al (the person inside the suit) constantly battled his Spawn suit for control?
Did you know during the Bloodfeud storyline Spawn fears his suit is feeding off blood and rips his suit off his body?
and then there is this bit of info which is also a big part of the story:
"Mother gives the power of the Forbidden Fruit to the lifeless Spawn, resurrecting him in a new form - his cloak and chains are gone, replaced with shining white wings.
Mother explains that Cyan was right; Spawn needed to die in order to be resurrected and gain the power to rival God and Satan."
Now with all this in mind - can you see Daylyt's third round vs rex in a different light? (suit = antics etc etc)

His post stirred a lot of discussion within the group. Some commentators were surprised by the character's background, others still don't support the antic, and some view it as a great performance.

Troy Daniels tagged Daylyt, born Davone Campbell, in the post and one day later Daylyt shared it on his personal Facebook profile. He captioned the share, "only a few will understand my plans."

Hip Hop journalist, Chaz Kangas linked back to a previous interview with Daylyt that he conducted over a year ago where he also discussed his connection with Spawn.

In this interview featured in LA Weekly, Daylyt said, "Me and Spawn have a lot of things in common. A lot of people look at me as a good guy now, but I wasn't always like this. In my younger days, I did a lot of things that I shouldn't have done, like anybody who grew up in Watts.

"But, as I got older, I understood my purpose in life and what I needed to do. What I do in battle rap I did to make everybody hate me, for the greater purpose of making them love me in the end. Same thing Spawn did. Yes, he sold his soul to the devil. But what did he do at the end of the day? He killed the devil. The singularities in that character and how my life is structured are almost identical."

Daylyt also said that he is known for doing something different in the third round. That is his "trademark." He added, "People follow me because they're waiting to see what I do in the third round. I see the feedback, all the hate, and hate travels farther than love. I would have a format of one battle they hate me, the next make them love me. It's almost as if I have full control over the entire internet right now."

Previously, Daylyt mentioned that his Spawn antic at Total Slaughter would be his last.
