Lush One Announces Partnership With FilmOn.TV

"We’re taking everything to a greater level of professionalism and deeper pockets behind the budgets and everything," Lush One says. "It’s just on a higher level."

After years of partnering with Grind Time Now and more recently King of the Dot, Lush One has announced that the Fresh Coast Media Group is set to embark on a new venture with FilmOn.TV. In a segment published by 100 Bars Magazine, Lush One tours the FilmOn offices and details the nature of the move and what fans can expect from the partnership.

“Basically, what FilmOn and the Fresh Coast Media Group pretty much encompasses is just everything we’ve been doing but presented with a higher level of quality,” Lush One said. “It’s the same exact team ... Everybody that’s been working with us on the behind-the-scenes level is still there and still involved. Shout out to King of the Dot. Shout out to King Fly. But now we’re taking everything to a greater level of professionalism and deeper pockets behind the budgets and everything. It’s just on a higher level. New content coming out. More fantasy matches and battlers that you would never expect hopping in the ring actually doing it. This is the time. It’s going down right now.”

Tracing the development of the deal and Fresh Coast’s own recent history, Lush One also announced the specific channel where fans can watch the exclusive content.

“We been doing this for a long time,” he said. “Started out, Fresh Coast was holding down the West Coast division of Grind Time Now. Back in 2008, 2009, 2010, had classic events. That’s where we saw some of our favorite battlers come to fruition from Dizaster to Daylyt to Hollow Da Don to DNA and Cortez ... Ars too, Verb even. A lot of these cats had their debut of the YouTube era on our stage. Then, after that, once things with Grind Time kind of deviated on the business end of things we started working with our good homies King of the Dot. We been holding it down for the past few years since the beginning of 2012. We’re gonna be continuing to work with King of the Dot but now the Fresh Coast, we have our own thing going on as far as on a business level. We are Fresh Coast Media Group. We still do the events, the West Coast division for King of the Dot and those are still our brothers. In fact, they’re directly involved in this venture. But this is a chance for us to control our own shit finally after all these years. All the emcees that are currently competing on this platform, everybody from the guys I mentioned before, Diz and Daylyt to Rum Nitty and Danny Myers, KG The Poet and The Deadman, Illmaculate and The Saurus, Konshis Pilot ... so many fools. The list goes on and on. So many dope emcees and this is the primary platform for these artists on the King of the Dot stage and the Fresh Coast, on our platform."

"Now we’re working with FilmOn.TV, it’s a huge ass network located right here in Beverly Hills. Got things coming out on television, on actual TV as well as on our FilmOn channel so you can go to FilmOn.com/TV/Battle-Rap and you can check out constant live streaming right now of what’s gonna be shown on our TV network. We got some crazy new big events with shit that’s gonna blow your mind.”

Besides the announcement, Lush One has tracked some of the new partnership’s progress on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
