Marlo And Shuffle-T Crash Wedding

The British battling partners perform during a rap fan's wedding reception.

Marlo and Shuffle-T surprised a battle rap fan by showing up to his wedding and performing a battle in front of all his guests.

The British comedy-rap duo received a request from the bride prior to the wedding, telling them that her then-fiancé was a huge fan of battle rap. Having received random bits of information from her, Marlo and Shuffle were able to craft bars about him, his bathing habits and his love of Sunday dinners.

Shuffle-T summed up how it all came about, as well as how it went down, on his Facebook page:

Figured I should do a proper one.

So... In June my fanpage (yeah I've got a fanpage mate) received a request from one Fran Scott-Howes wondering if myself and Marlow might be able to come to her wedding and perform a unique 'battle' for her... groom. In June, I read this message, because my admin skills are appalling, and we instantly were on the idea.

Fran sent us myriad information about James including his cat's name, bathing habits, sunday roast obsessions and some things that are far too bizarre and twisted to repeat.

Myself and Marlo quickly got to work once we had finished our dealings in America in putting together something that would fit the proceedings and that was taylor made for James. The pieces of info that we had been given by Fran were so touching and genuine that it made the process a pleasure and writing came naturally and flowing.

Fast forward to the day - me and Theo are bricking it, there's so much pressure mounting on us and, really, for Fran as well, we waited for our cue (given by the bridesmaid in the neon dress) and went out and tried our hardest to give it a good performance. This is what we came out with. Please share the HELL out of this as it would be the icing on the cake if this went viral. ENJOY AND SHARE!!!!!

BattleRap.com chatted with Shuffle-T to see what happened after the battle. He said: "We had a wheelbarrow race with the other guests, stayed in the honeymoon cottage with the newlyweds and I shared a dance with the groom wearing the bride's veil!"

The bride who arranged the surprise was shocked to see how much recognition the video has already received. "I never thought I'd be sat in Bryant park in New York to find we have 52,000 views on our wedding YouTube video!" she wrote on Facebook, "And that is 7000 views since [James] popped out to get coffee an hour a go! This is blowing my mind!"
