BattleRap.com caught up with Poison Pen--who judged some of the battles at Total Slaughter--prior to the event (July 12) and got some insight into various topics regarding the battle rap industry and its future. Poison Pen tells us what he focuses on as a battle judge, describes battle rap as "performance art," and believes that people have the opportunity to make a living off of the culture.
