Dizaster & Krack City Discuss Math Hoffa Fight

Dizaster says the fight would have happened no matter where the battle had taken place.

In a newly-published interview with VladTV, Dizaster and his Krack City crew sat down to detail the brawl that went down following his battle with Math Hoffa at King Of The Dot’s BOLA 5 on June 28. During the interview, Dizaster chronicles the beef between himself and Math and says the battle began to shape up following his match-up with Pat Stay.

“It started off like this. [I said] I quit battling. After the Pat Stay shit, I was like, ‘I’m done with this shit.’ Math looked at it [like], ‘Oh, right when I want a rematch, pussy wants to quit.’ This is how the battle came about,” Dizaster explains. “Fools were asking him like, ‘Why won’t Diz battle you?’ He would say shit [like], ‘Pussy is running. Pussy is ducking,’ you can find all these tweets from him… The pride in me as an emcee was like, ‘Yo, this fool is sitting here telling people I’m scared to battle him. I just killed him in Brooklyn. Whatever. Come to L.A. and I’ll do it.’”

After what Dizaster describes as continuous taunts from Math over Twitter and Instagram, he says he was led to believe Math was really planning to punch him at their battle.

“I’m already thinking, ‘Damn, he’s probably really just fuckin’ gonna come out to Cali and just say fuck it and do a battle for the last time and never even go back to King of the Dot, punch me, get paid and just fuckin’ bounce.’ So I’m already thinking shit is gonna pop off,” he says. “About a week before the battle I’m thinking, ‘In this battle a fight is gonna happen, at some point.’”

Dizaster goes on to detail that an associate of Math Hoffa, who Dizaster claims had paid him $500 for a verse in New York that Diz subsequently never finished, was present at BOLA 5 and was infuriating him prior to the event.

Members of Dizaster’s Krack City crew were also present during the interview and spoke about the events that transpired after Dizaster threw the first punch.

“This dude right here, man, he like family. So when family get in a fight, we move… It was just reaction. If your people ride, you ride with them.”

When asked if the same situation would have happened had he been in New York battling Math instead of California, Dizaster simply says “yes.”

“First of all, I would never be in New York by myself,” he says. “Second of all, my people are with me everywhere I go so the same people would have been there and the same scenario would have happened, we would have just probably got jumped by like a 100 people. But yes! The situation Math put me in—he put me in no other position other than to fire on him… If we were in fuckin’ Bolivia I would have fired on him. It don’t matter what fuckin’ country. It don’t matter what place, New York [or] no matter where the fuck it would have been. No matter where this shit would have happened it would have been the same scenario over and over."

Following the brawl, KOTD hit Dizaster with a lifetime ban, which could be diminished to a year if Dizaster publicly apologized to Hoffa, KOTD and the fans of battle rap as well as pay a $2,500 fine to KOTD for the damages.

“At the end of the day, I’m not gonna apologize to Math or nothing,” he says. “I definitely am sorry to Organik for fuckin’ up his equipment and all that shit, yes. I’m not going to act arrogant about it or none of that. That was definitely our fault. But, apologize to Math? For what? Fuck no!”

Math Hoffa has yet to respond to the comments publicly. It doesn’t look like he’s even seen the video yet based on his response to this tweet below:
