Bill Collector Only Doing "3 More Battles"

Bill Collector also talks about the possibility of a battle with Daylyt.

Calling into Angry Fans Radio last night (Aug. 11), Bill Collector kicked his appearance off with a surprise a capella verse.

When asked about some of the threatening lines in his rap, Bill said, “nobody’s fucking safe man.”

“I know everybody waiting to see who my next is and all that fly shit,” he said of his next battle, “I don’t know yet man. Nobody’s safe. Nobody.”

Bill also confirmed tentative plans to battle Daylyt in December. “Yeah, you know, that’s what they want me to battle the boy Daylyt,” he said. “It was supposed to be on Summer Madness 4 but I didn’t come home in time. So, we looking at the December event.”

Elsewhere in the interview Bill reacted to comparisons between himself and Daylyt and went on to chastise the Watts battler for some of his antics.

“Listen, I salute him because he being him,” he said. “This the difference between real niggas and fake niggas. Real niggas be them wherever they at. Niggas be mad at me, niggas be mad at Daylyt. We do us wherever we go. We us."

“Everybody’s comparing me to Daylyt,” he also said. “At the end of the day, cool. I may do some silly shit but I’m not coming out dressed like the ice-cream man and laying down and getting naked on stage and laying there screaming Mr. Hanky and shit like that. I say ‘I got the burna,’ but I’m not like, ‘Yo, it’s in the car.’ It’s a lot of goofy shit going on. This the twist, even y'all laughing at what I’m saying right now and I may seem like I’m coming off funny, I’m joked the fuck out. I don’t got too many jokes for niggas no more. It’s a whole other side of Bill you’re about to see. I’m fresh home. I’m irked. I’m irritated by what’s going on. I don’t like the way it’s going. I’m ready to leave the whole battle scene alone, I’m only doing three more unless shit changes and tightens up real soon. So when I get on that stage, don’t expect me to hit you in the face with a bye, you gonna get worked on. I’m not taking nothing less than $1,500. So don’t come to me with these mediocre prices and don’t be upset when I tell you my numbers.”

Bill doubled down on his claims of bowing out after three more battles and when asked why, he again launched into a verse. “Hannah Montana,” he repeated. “I got Mollys, I got white / I got Codeine, I got Sprite / I be trappin’, trappin’ trappin’ all damn night,” he rapped. “Three more battles and I’m done man. Features $350,” he said after the second interrupting verse.

Declining to speak on any possible opponents besides Day, Bill Collector went on to speak more generally about the current state of battle rap.

“Who do I want to battle right now besides Daylyt? I’m gonna answer your question with a question,” he said. “What do you call a deer that has no eyes? I have no-eyed-dear bro. It’s too many mothafuckas out. Real shit. I don’t know these niggas."

“The pressure not on me, the pressure on everybody else,” he said. “They like, ‘Yo, I hope Bill don’t say he wanna battle me.’ They know that the battle is gonna get set-up. Before, when it was just SMACK and UW and just a couple other leagues, niggas could duck my battles. Like, ‘I wanna battle you.’ ‘Uhhhh,’ they could duck. Now, it is approximately 8,422 battle leagues out there. Everybody’s paying like they weigh. Somebody’s gonna match whatever price these niggas is talking about. Loaded Lux getting eight million a battle. I’m not charging that much and I don’t wanna battle him. But if I say nigga’s name to a nigga, they be like, ‘Oh, well [he] said he don’t wanna battle.’ That mean that league ain’t offer him enough money. I’m gonna call the next league. So the pressure is on everybody else. Not me.”

While on the show, Bill also rattled off his current Top 3: B Magic, Hollow Da Don, and himself. Listen to the interview below.
