Dizaster On Lupe Fiasco: “Jump In The Ring Or Don’t Talk About Battling”

Dizaster also says Royce Da 5’9’s style is more suited to battling than Joe Budden’s.

In a newly-published interview with VladTV, Dizaster spoke about his continued feud with Lupe Fiasco and also addressed the possibility of Royce Da 5’9 jumping in the ring following Joe Budden’s battle against Hollow Da Don at Total Slaughter.

“I’d like to see Lupe Fiasco jump in the shark tank and get a fuckin’ limb ripped off of him maybe,” Dizaster says. “Another arrogant ass dude, always talking shit. The whole thing started between me and Lupe because he felt like he had to say me and Aye Verb are wack. He’s supposed to be this positive figure for hip hop and all this shit and he has millions of followers and he’s just gonna tweet to people [like], ‘You guys are wack.’ It’s like, ‘Cool.’ So I just started talking shit back to him and ever since it has just always been some crazy shit with him. He’s just one of those dudes that starts tweeting wack ass punchlines and thinking that he’s a rapper because he can tweet bars, typing 140 character lines and shit. I’m a battler, bro. I’m a barbarian, bro. This is what I fuckin’ do, don’t come at me with no fuckin’ Twitter typing shit. Go and play in the corner with that shit. Either jump in the ring or don’t talk about battling, don’t even have an opinion about it. Shut the fuck up! We don’t give a fuck what you think.”

Dizaster also addressed the possibility of seeing Detroit lyricist Royce Da 5’9 jump in the ring following Joe Budden’s battle at Total Slaughter last month. During an interview with VladTV at U Dubb’s “Annihilation” event on July 27, Royce said that seeing Budden battle gave him the “bug” to follow suit, but Dizaster says he doesn’t think Royce will and even reveals he had asked the “Road To Total Slaughter” judge for a match-up.

“Royce would be better than Budden, for sure. ‘Cause he has more projection and his style is more built for battling. I know Royce wouldn’t battle ‘cause I asked him to battle. I actually texted him, I was like, ‘Yo, man. Come on, man. Let’s fuckin’ do it, me and you. [With] Budden battling Hollow [Da Don] and all that, what’s up, man?’ He was kind of entertaining it but he was like, ‘Nah, man. I’d rather push you guys and be one of the faces behind it than be in the front.’ I definitely came at him like, ‘Yo, let’s fuckin’ do it,’ like respectfully, like homies and shit.”

“If I battled Royce it would definitely just be bars. I probably wouldn’t even say one Royce bar, I just wouldn’t. I have no interest on coming at him like that. I would definitely be on some multi syllables and metaphors shit, that [would] be the whole battle. But he probably wouldn’t do it so that’s out of the question.”
