Cassidy On Dizaster Battle: “I Can’t Be The Underdog… I’ve Never Been Beat”

Cassidy also discusses the possibility of physical violence escalating in his battle with Dizaster.

In a newly published interview with VladTV, Philadelphia emcee Cassidy addressed being labelled the underdog going into his upcoming battle with Dizaster at Fresh Coast/FilmOn’s “Ether” event in December.

In the interview, Cassidy said that only those with “no common sense” believe he’s going to lose the match-up.

“At the end of the day you gotta show up. So if you show up there’s no way they can deny it. I don’t really care if I’m the underdog or not, I’d rather be the underdog. I don’t want no advantage, I’ma just go out there and do what I do,” Cassidy says. “But I can’t be a underdog if you’re looking at it with any common sense ‘cause I’ve cooked so many niggas. I’ve never been beat. I’ve always been talking shit and I always been backing it up. This nigga that I’m battling lost before. You can go on YouTube, type it up and see wild battles he lost before. So if them niggas beat him before, what the fuck make you think I can’t do it? But you can’t pull up that with me ‘cause I’m untouchable.”

Later in the interview, Cassidy simply laughs when asked whether he’s concerned about Dizaster following the altercation with Math Hoffa in their battle at King Of The Dot’s BOLA 5.

“[Laughs] Nah, I’m never concerned, man… All these years I’ve been running the street, talking shit [and] doing me I never was concerned so I can’t possibly be concerned with Dizaster… We don’t even need to get into that,” he says. “He not gon’ do nothing, he not gon’ punch me, he not gon’ try his hand. Nothing ain’t gon’ happen. Nothing ain’t gon’ happen to him, we just gon’ rap. Do it for the culture and that’s gon’ be that. But I’m definitely not worried. I’m always prepared for whatever could happen.”

While talking about the parties who funded the battle, Cassidy mars the name of Fresh Coast/FilmOn.

“Fresh Coast Films or something like that,” he says. “I know the nigga Lush One that used to be with King Of The Dot. I just know when I say I want this amount of money and y’all just cut the check, it’s cool. I don’t really need to know what battle league you is and what’s your name and what else you did.”

“I don’t really care about that,” Cassidy continues. “Get my money, I’ma show up, bite a nigga head off, as simple as that. That’s a question you gotta ask Dizaster. He’ll tell you the niggas last name, their parents name, where they live, how tall he is and what they got on today and all that [but] I don’t know about all that, man [laughs].”
