Reacting to Danny Myers listing him in his Bottom 5 in an interview with VladTV last month, T-Rex broke down his list of accomplishments for HipHopIsReal before predicting a strong victory against Charlie Clips at "Summer Madness 4."
“Niggas seen us on SMACK in 2002,” Rex said. “It’s 2014, going on 2015, if niggas can’t respect that then I don’t know what it is. We was doing battle rap when it wasn’t cool to do it. Now the niggas that we watched do it is coming to battle rap. Y'all stepping into our world when we wanted to be in y'all world. So that shows you that [by] being yourself, you can be a leader instead of a follower. It was all about us wanting to be stars. I could walk through the mall before half of these niggas could walk through a mall and I’m gonna get stopped, they’re not. It’s just like, sticking to what you believe in and doing what you doing. From the beginning we was Money Ave, we still Money Ave, we still Dot Mob. We stick to our guns. It is what it is over here. Ain’t no switching up.”
Speaking directly on Myers’ recent comments which included calling Rex “a great seller of wack bars,” T-Rex said, “I’m gonna make him pay.” The two battlers are scheduled to battle in January in Milwaukee's Black Ice Cartel league.
“I called Danny Myers, and you know, Danny Myers paid me out of his pocket,” he said. “I ain’t gon’ put the amount out there but it was a lot of money. I made him pay and I’m gonna make him pay. I’m gonna fuck Danny Myers up bad for that. Them comments you made, I’m the reason you could do this. So how could you say anything like, we don’t have—how don’t I have bars? Name a big event that ever happened that I wasn’t a part of. The World Series of Hip Hop, remember that? Back in the days when Worldstar did the joint, I was a part of that. Everything big Smack ever did. I was the champion of Total Slaughter, get that straight. Snoop Dogg Gladiator School. I’m saying, anything you could name. Total Slaughter 2 I’m automatically on that ‘cause I’m a champion. How could you ever say something about a champion? What have you ever won in your life? Nothing.”
Talking briefly about his upcoming battle with Clips, Rex disputed the interviewer’s claim that Charlie Clips is undefeated and brought his performance abilities into question.
“I don’t think it’s gonna be a classic, I think it’s gonna be trash,” he said. “I’m gonna treat Charlie like what he is. I’ma trash him. I mean, he fuck up every time he battle so I don’t know how you could call that undefeated. When you saw me choke? I was doing this shit ten years before him. When do you ever see me slip up, trip up, or mess up? Never. You can’t name a time. So if you calling that nigga a nigga that never lost, then what am I? When he was getting hot what you think I was doing?”
