BBE's “Duel In The Desert” took place in Phoenix, Ariz. this past Saturday (Oct. 4) and featured nine battles between some of battle rap's elite. Though the event was overshadowed by Daylyt’s “SquatterGate” scandal, BattleRap.com was in the building and got interviews with a ton of personalities from the world of battle rap. Although his battle versus Qleen Paper was cancelled prior to the event, Rone still attended and spoke to BattleRap.com about the abandoned match-up and also weighed in on his recent compliments battle with Pat Stay.
Lotta Zay Recaps Marv Won Battle
Following his battle with Marv Won, Lotta Zay spoke with BattleRap.com to discuss the match-up saying it “might have been the craziest battle” since his bout with C3 at Black Ice Cartel’s "The Eulogy" event in Wisconsin on June 22. He also says the Phoenix crowd was the best crowd he’s ever performed for.
