Pat Stay vs. Daylyt Announced For "Flatline 3"

KOTD releases the trailer for the next title match.

It's official.

King Of The Dot has dropped a trailer for the next title match, between current champion Pat Stay and challenger Daylyt. The battle is scheduled to go down as part of KOTD's "Flatline 3" event on Nov. 22 in Toronto, which so far also features Charron vs. Charlie Clips, Uno Lavoz vs. Rone and Danny Myers vs. Dialect.

Reaction to the announcement has been mixed. Daylyt fans support the decision, pointing to his lyrical prowess against Chilla Jones, Head I.C.E and Charlie Clips, while his detractors condemn the league for rewarding someone they see as a blight on battle culture.

In any case, Daylyt is one of the most talked about figures in the scene and definitely the most polarizing. His "SquatterGate" antics in Phoenix on Oct. 4 caused a stink (almost literally) and got his face — or at least his butt and severed neck prosthesis — on most major hip-hop websites.

Daylyt added fuel to the fire on social media once the match was announced.

Many fans believe Charron is long overdue for a title shot, which KOTD host Organik addressed in a Facebook post today:
