"The Blueprint" Interview Round-Up: JC, Cortez, Young Kannon

EXCLUSIVE: BattleRap.com caught up with Cortez, RBE's ARP, and many more at the event that went down on Sept. 20 in Chicago.

Last month was a pretty hectic time for battle rap. On Sept. 19, Snoop Dogg and Murda Mook hosted “Gladiator School” in Atlanta. The following day GO-Rilla Warfare hosted their “Blueprint” event in Chicago. A week later, it was three days of "Summer Madness" events and then a week after that, Daylyt set the Internet on fire at "Duel In The Desert" in Phoenix.

BattleRap.com was at all the events and caught a ton of interviews with personalities from across the world of battle rap. Cortez & Young Kannon Recap Their Battle

After their battle at GO-Rilla Warfare’s “Blueprint,” Cortez and Young Kannon offered their opinions on how they thought their match-up went. There’s definitely a sense of mutual respect between these two but of course, they both believe that they’re the winner.

JC Says Danny Myers vs. Rum Nitty Inspired Him

JC reveals his predictions for the rest of the battles on the card at GO-Rilla Warfare’s “Blueprint” event and says the match-up between Danny Myers and Rum Nitty motivated him to get back into watching battle rap.

ARP: “Blood Sweat & Tiers Is The First Card Of Its Kind”

Rare Breed Entertainment CEO ARP reveals the battles he is most looking forward to at the league’s upcoming Nov. 1 event “Blood Sweat & Tiers.” He also discloses that Jimz’ surprise opponent has “one of the best résumés in battle rap history.”
