Big Kannon and Daylyt engaged in a quick back-and-forth video blog beef over the weekend. While some fans think both blogs hint at a possible publicity stunt in the vain of some of Daylyt’s previous antics, both emcees involved maintain that the beef is serious. Kannon says that Daylyt is no longer a welcome member of the Writers Bloque crew following his continued comments about homosexuality.
“I do not fuck with this nigga Daylyt,” Kannon says in a clip uploaded on Saturday (Oct. 25). “When I see this nigga Daylyt, we have to have some type of fade. Point blank. Period. The type of shit that this nigga do I don’t accept. And now it’s spilling over to our shit. It’s spilling over to the Writers Bloque shit. Until further notice, Writers Bloque is putting him on probation until me and him have a fade. That’s just the simple and plain of it, and here’s why. See, I knew about the Diddy shit ... I laughed at it because I know Daylyt do crazy shit. I consider dude like a brother. I be telling him, ‘You can’t be doing all that. You can’t be doing that.’ He assured me, ‘On my mama, I’m not gon’ do it. I’m not gon’ do it again.’ I told him I had problems with it. Then the nigga goes right back on Vlad and talks about he wants to eat John John’s ass out in the middle of a battle.”
While Kannon says that he has no problem with homosexuality, he points out Day’s comments and a pattern of lying as the reason for the rift.
“Here’s my thing, you blatantly lied to me,” he says. “You blatantly looked me in my eyes as a man and lied. I don’t wanna battle you. I don’t wanna even talk to you. The only thing I need you to do is accept the fade. Accept the fade. I’m not playing. I’ve never, never been so heated in my life, bro.”
Daylyt quickly responded the same day, his son and child’s mother audibly playing in the background while he seems to troll Kannon (and fans) by claiming he slept with Kannon's GO-Rilla Warfare partner, Mz. Gracie.
“First of all, Big Kannon, you just booked me my nigga,” Daylyt says in his blog. “You could’ve said all of that shit when I was in Chicago, my nigga. I just left Chicago, you could have said all of that in Chicago. I knew something was funny ‘cause you didn’t really speak to me at the event. You kept your distance from me at the event. I knew something was funny. But you could have said all of that to me while I was in Chicago.”
“It’s two sides to every story,” Day adds. “So I’m watching the blog and he talking about, ‘Oh, you not in Writers Bloque no more because the gay shit.’ That’s not it bro. Don’t lie to these people. Really tell the truth ... The reason why Big Kannon really is mad because he found out me and Gracie was fucking around. Y'all may laugh at that, y'all may take that as a joke. But shit serious. I’m dead-ass serious ... You wanna say, ‘Oh, it’s the gay shit.’ It’s not that, bro. It’s me and Gracie. Tell the truth. You mad that I broke your people’s hearts. So what nigga? So what, now you wanna fight over it? Tell the people really what it is.”
Mz. Gracie responded on Twitter, casting aside any possibility that Daylyt's claims are authentic.
