When the “Blood Sweat & Tiers” event was first announced back in August, Big Kannon was originally set to face off against New Jersey battler Arsonal. However, Arsonal recently dropped out of the event and was quickly replaced by Pontiac, Mich. emcee Ill Will. ARP, CEO of RBE, recently revealed why Arsonal dropped out of the event in an interview with 15 Minutes Of Fame Radio.

“We made our main event to the ‘Blood Sweat & Tiers' card Arsonal vs. Big Kannon,” ARP explains. “Big Kannon and Arsonal are both within my Top 3 personal favorites. I felt that just fit the card perfectly and it just so happens that Arsonal is on fire this year. Big Kannon is up-and-coming [and] doesn’t get the respect he deserves, great battle, great match, in our opinion, to fit this card. Arsonal is one of those guys that’s been here since the early days. One of the pioneers that is putting [in] a crazy, crazy amount of work.”

“So what happened was on Wednesday of last week [Oct. 15] Arsonal hit me up and started explaining the situation to me,” ARP continues. “We’re not gonna get into all the details of that conversation but we had a very, very humbled and respectful conversation and I came out of that conversation respecting Arsonal even more. Now the situation that he’s got going on is very big. It’s the type of situation that all these battle rappers one day hopefully achieve and work themselves up to. So I told him over the phone, man to man, ‘I got mines, if you about to go get yours, I co-sign the situation. Out of respect, go do your thing.’ Now on the business side of course we had some business wrapped up already. He took care of that 10 minutes after we got off the phone. No exaggeration. So that right there was like, ‘Man, how do I not co-sign the way that this man is moving?’ He’s one of the hardest working and one of the most hustling muthafuckas out there … We had some match-ups in mind and Ill Will was one person that I spoke to that I thought would be sick and Ill Will was with it. We just plugged that in like 15 hours, real shit.”
