Daylyt Talks "Ether" Battle Against Serius Jones

Daylyt will face off against the SMACK DVD veteran on Dec. 6 in Los Angeles.

The "Ether" card continues to take shape, most recently with Lush One's announcement that Daylyt is facing off against SMACK DVD veteran Serius Jones on Dec. 6's "Ether" event at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

This most recent announcement eliminates rumors of a possible match-up between Daylyt and D12 lyricist Bizarre that had previously been hinted at. However, while discussing the Serius Jones announcement with the Battle Rap Arena radio show, Daylyt revealed that the Bizarre match-up could go down as a main event at the next FilmOn/Fresh Coast event.

Speaking with VladTV after the announcement, Daylyt said that he has “zero” antics planned for the battle.

“Zero!” Daylyt says. “I chose Serius because I wanted a serious match on this card … This is my last battle of the year and I wanna end the year with a serious battle. Just know, I’m taking that battle serious.”

Serius, who rose to prominence in the early days of New York's SMACK DVD era, hasn't battled since his 2013 match-up against Math Hoffa, which ended abruptly when Hoffa punched him.

The following battles are also confirmed for the "Ether" card:

Dizaster vs. Cassidy
The Saurus vs. Arsonal
Danny Myers vs. Heartless
Caustic vs. Cali Smoov
O'fficial vs. Bonnie Godiva

We’re still waiting for news of who Bigg K’s opponent for the event will be after he posted this picture to Instagram on Oct. 23 with the caption: “Just shot a promo for Bigg K vs ____ Dec 6th in L.A!!!…..
