Prior to Don’t Flop’s “6th Birthday Weekend” that's going down this coming weekend (Nov. 15-16), league owner Eurgh spoke with BattleRap.com to preview the event and weigh in on the postponed title match between Tony D and Unanymous. He also discusses the replacement battle that the league has lined up and speaks on its unorthodox format.
“We’ve actually had to rearrange the title match because of some issues that both the emcees were having,” explains Eurgh. “Instead of the title match we’re actually doing Unanymous vs. Soul now, which we think is quite a worthy replacement. It was obviously a big drama to get it all sorted but we think people are gonna be happy with Unanymous vs. Soul. Him and Tony was obviously a really, really good look but a lot of stuff has suddenly come up which has meant that the battle can’t go down until about another month which is really, really annoying for everybody involved. All the emcees were really understanding about it. We had a team talk and then everyone agreed that Soul was the best bet. [We] talked to Soul, he was really down for it [and] Unan’ was really down for it as well.”
Its nothing to do wit Unan or Eurgh, its my issue. Apologies to all those I have disappointed. I will further explain via an fb status.

Tony D's Facebook statement regarding the cancelled match-up can be seen below:
Unanymous also took to Twitter to address the battle cancellation:
Unanymous’ new opponent Soul also weighed in:
Im not the type to create animosity for no reason. Nothing but respect for @unanymousmate and his ability. Lets try make a good one brother.

This will be the second meeting between Unanymous and Soul, as the two faced off for the Get Slated battle league in March 2013.
Eurgh stated that the format for this weekend's battle will be different in an attempt to keep things fresh and interesting.
“It’s a rematch but we’re doing it a bit differently,” Eurgh explains. “We’re trying a new round time structure just to make it a bit fresh. We’re basically doing a two round battle. They have a 60 second round each to start the battle off and get it going and then the second round is unlimited. Because it was a last-minute replacement, we thought we might as well just have a bit of fun with it and try something new. I don’t think a battle has ever been done with one, one-minute round and one unlimited round, so that should be interesting. They’re both really, really keen. They both write really fast so the quality of the battle should be the same as what the title match was gonna be. It’s obviously a massive shame that the title match is not happening but another time it’ll be fine.”
Don’t Flop’s “6th Birthday Weekend” goes down this weekend (Nov. 15-16) at Stylus in Leeds, England.
