Dizaster Explains Why “Ether” Was Shut Down

Dizaster also discusses his battle with Cassidy in detail.

Dizaster recently called into AngryFans Radio to speak at length about his match-up against Cassidy at FCMG/FilmOn’s “Ether” event, among other topics.

If you’re just catching up on the “Ether” card, you can check out all of BattleRap.com’s coverage here.

The headlining “Ether” battle was postponed from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7 after the event was shut down just one round in to the colossal match-up. Addressing the saga, Dizaster says Cassidy’s entourage wouldn’t get off stage when prompted to do so, which subsequently led to the event being closed down.

“There was a lot of bullshit that led up to this shit,” Dizaster says. “Before we got on stage, Cassidy shows up with like a 1,000 people outside and they can’t even get in because the Fire Marshalls were tripping. So the security was all fucked up, man. Basically he showed up with all these cats and they got on stage and [then] they wouldn’t get off the stage. They wouldn’t move or budge [so] it was a really crazy energy, man … Pretty much by the time the shit started Cassidy just started failing. Nobody was fucking with his shit because it was just all weak-ass bars so the crowd just started booing. People just started tripping because he was getting booed so they felt like they had to compensate for it in my round.”

“Now keep in mind he brought in like 20 [or] 30 fools with him,” Dizaster adds. “That’s enough people [that] if they start booing, they could throw off the whole shit. That’s enough to be loud. That’s like a football team. Basically it was just crazy, man.”

Dizaster goes on to discuss a multitude of topics including, among others, Math Hoffa.
