King Of The Dot have upped the ante again with the announcement of T-Rex on February's "Blackout 5" card.
One of the original stars of the early New York SMACK DVD days, Rex's 2014 was fairly uneven, the high points being some incredible performances as he tore through the Total Slaughter tournament and then stomped all over Rum Nitty at Gladiator School.
On the other end of the spectrum, he became a meme after his lopsided loss to Charlie Clips at URL's "Summer Madness 4," the same weekend he lost his nephew. And his matches against Shotgun Suge and Cortez were plagued by mid-battle contractual issues that significantly impacted replay value.
Regardless, Rex is always a threat and should go over well with the Toronto crowd in his league debut.
