Since much of battle rap's narrative plays out publicly on Twitter before anywhere else, we've decided to curate a list of the best battle rap themed accounts on the social media site.
Below you'll find a collection of the most entertaining, ridiculous, and interesting Twitter users in the battle rap scene. From parody accounts to the tireless trolls and shit-talkers, follow these battlers, pundits, and league reps for a different side of the battle rap world.
Daylyt - @daylyt2k
Has there been a more effective troll in battle rap than Daylyt? That's an easy question to answer, but a peek at Day's Twitter account might help you out if you weren't sure (as long as you can decipher his typo-ridden trollspeak). Still, as ever, Daylyt lets his somber self shine through sometimes.
Laura Tarsi - @mslauratarsi
Host of several battle rap pay-per-views, Laura Tarsi is a Grade A troll to the battle rap world. Hounded consistently for not being a "real fan," Laura Tarsi has become an increasingly present pundit in recent months and has had her name referenced in plenty of battles over the years.
Dizaster - @mrdizaster
Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and Dizaster's Twitter account is an expectedly unadulterated stream of shit-talk in 140-character bursts.
TypicalBatleFan - @typicalbatlefan
A fantastic bit of parody is what you can expect from @typicalbatlefan, and while it's almost always funny, there's a smartness to the account's ability to turn a mirror on the culture itself.
Arsonal - @arsonaldarebel
Arsonal is explosive on stage, and on Twitter he'll be the first battler to block a fan (or dozen) for shit-talking.
BLOCCED A WEEK BEFOR XMAS RT @semigodx: “@ARSONALDAREBEL: BATTLE RAP HAS TAKEN OVER” you still weak for ducking ill will

Fauthor Fal - @fauthorfal
Fauthor Fal is an Oakland battler fighting to make his way into the battle rap space, usually by calling out top tier rappers and bigging up his own résumé.
Norbes - @streetstarnorbe
Repping the URL, Norbes' Twitter handle is a place for him to talk shit, promote battles, and joke around.
"i don't know what was worst, the Lifetime Aaliyah movie or @hollowdadon single #Yola"

Anecdote - @anecdoteftw
Follow Australian battler Anecdote for the battle rap memes and commentary, stay for the persistently witty one-liners.
OTBVA - @otbva
Described as the "Least Respected Battle Rap Archive Forum" in the account's bio, OTBVA is a combination of the National Enquirer and The Onion of battle rap news. Their beef with Rosenberg Raw is a source of ongoing entertainment for battle rap fans.
Evil Smack - @evilsmack
Another parody account well worth hitting the "Follow" button for, his bio alone is a hint at what to expect: "FOLLOW THE IMITATOR NOT THE INNOVATOR #YAAAMSAYIIN!!!"
SO I TROLL JJDD, BIGG K, ILL WILL, RICH DOLARZ, CHILLA & I GET BLOCKED!!! YET I TROLLED @MRDIZASTER WAY WORSE & HE FOLLOW ME!!! S/O DIZ!!
