Shotty Horroh Announced For “Blackout 5”

Shotty Horroh is scheduled to make his return to Toronto at KOTD's February event.

Today’s “Blackout 5” announcement is none other than Manchester, England’s Shotty Horroh. Shotty's addition makes him the third U.K. battler booked for the card that already includes Shuffle-T and Don't Flop founder Eurgh.

Shotty Horroh has become one of the U.K. battle scene’s most popular and sought after emcees over the past few years with a string of stellar performances. His most recent battle against Don't Flop champion Tony D at “MCR vs. LDN” was arguably his biggest match-up to date. The clash earned a spot on BattleRap.com’s Top Rap Battles From November.

Shotty’s last scheduled battles for KOTD — both against Aye Verb — fell through. The first time was at “Blackout 4” in January 2014 when Verb cancelled, and then it happened again in April for "Vendetta 2" when Shotty cancelled. More recently, he had St. Louis emcee Yung Ill cancel on him at Don't Flop's "Sixth Birthday Weekend."

This might not be Shotty’s only 2015 appearance in North America either. During an interview with BattleRap.com at 6BW in November, Shotty Horroh hinted at a possible appearance at SMACK/URL’s “Night of Main Events 5.”
