Marv Won Announced For "Blackout 5"

Marv returns to Toronto to face a mystery opponent in February.

King Of The Dot has announced veteran Detroit rapper Marv Won for the "Blackout 5" card.

Marv first made a name for himself in the battle scene in the mid-to-late 2000s as a standout in the WRC 2-on-2s with his partner Quest MCODY.

As a solo battler, he's competed against the likes of Pat Stay, Cortez, Madness, Aye Verb, Loe Pesci and Eminem on the set of "8 Mile."

His most recent footage is from his battle with Lotta Zay at BBE's "Duel In The Desert" where he connected perfectly with the crowd. Watch that battle below and BattleRap.com's post-battle interview with Marv here.

He also faced Charlie Clips at BBG's "Power" card in Detroit in early November. The battle hasn't been released yet, but you can hear him recap the entire event for BattleRap.com here.

Check out all the BO5 announcements here.
