Rich Dolarz Announced For “Blackout 5”

Rich Dolarz is set to return to King Of The Dot for the first time since 2012 at the February event.

Today’s announcement for King Of The Dot’s “Blackout 5” event is Bronx lyricist Rich Dolarz.

During his career's formative years, Rich participated in a string of high-profile match-ups against Hitman Holla, Tay Roc, DNA and Calicoe.

Since then, he's been dipping in and out of battle rap. He's battled just three times since 2013, against McKims and then again against JC in an ill-fated and unreleased battle at Atlanta's A3C hip-hop festival. Late in 2014 he made his return against Jimz at RBE’s “Blood, Sweat & Tiers” event. Rich was scheduled to battle Loe Pesci at KOTD’s “Blackout 4” in early 2014 but cancelled over personal issues.

BO5 will be Rich' second performance on KOTD. At the league’s “Vendetta” event in 2012, he faced off against Daylyt in what’s widely considered as the latter’s breakout performance.

King Of The Dot’s “Blackout 5” event goes down on Feb. 7-8 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
