New York-based radio show/URL affiliate The War Report recently released their first edition of three Top 10 lists: one chosen by the fans and two voted on by a council of experts and insiders including Poison Pen, Angryfan, Jay Blac, Drect, and well, me, BattleRap.com's Chris Mitchell.
The fan polls were open to anyone who wanted to vote. For the curated lists, the panelists submitted their choices to a TWR rep. A #1 vote netted a battler 10 points, a #2 vote got them 9, and so on. The scores were tallied and the results are below:
Charlie Clips hit the #1 spot for both the fans and the experts. U.K. emcee Shotty Horroh came in at #2 for the fans but didn't hit the experts' list, showing perhaps that the fan list partly shows which battlers have the most mobilizable fan-bases.
All of the lists generated a ton of discussion already, mostly from people who took issue with them:
