After being postponed at Friday night's "Battle of the Bay 7" in Oakland, the battle between Bender and The Saurus finally happened on Saturday afternoon. KOTD recorded it outside in a field with a picturesque backdrop of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. Several staff members, battlers and familiar faces were present for the one-off:

Both Bender and The Saurus had dense and rhyme-heavy content, but a significant choke in Bender's second round swayed the public opinion in The Saurus' favor:

The other postponed battle on the card, Pass vs. B Magic, didn't happen at the same time because Magic had already caught his scheduled flight home to St. Louis. As of writing, there has been no announcement that the battle is rescheduled.
