Tim DeLaGhetto Weighs In On Dumbfoundead vs. Conceited

The Wild 'N Out cast member also tells the story of being asked to join the WRCs.

Although Drake’s guest appearance garnered the majority of attention at King Of The Dot’s “Blackout 5” event on Feb. 7-8, another familiar face in attendance was famed YouTuber and cast member of MTV2’s Wild 'N Out, Timothy DeLaGhetto.

We caught up with the renowned battle rap enthusiast — who is also known by the name Traphik — on Day 2 of the event to get his thoughts on the match-up that paired fellow Wild ‘N Out star Conceited against returning esteemed battle rapper Dumbfoundead.

“I was torn both ways because I’ve known Dumb for a long time [and] I’m on the show with Conceited — that’s my boy too," DeLaGhetto says. "I was getting insulted with short jokes to my left [and] Asian jokes to my right … Dumb definitely had me laughing more but Con was hilarious too. Con had some really good [screw face] bars. The people won that one, man.”

Earlier in the conversation, DeLaGhetto spoke on his relationship with battle rap, revealing that he was once asked to perform in the World Rap Championships.

“I been to a couple in L.A. and the Bay Area,” he says. “I’ve been watching this shit for a long time since the WRC shit. Actually, I was invited to participate in the WRCs way back. I got an email like, ‘Would you like to be down with this freestyle stuff,’ and I was like, ‘Well I battled in High School but nothing like that,’ plus I didn’t know who it was emailing me so I was like, ‘I’m good.’”
