Following his battle with DNA at SMACK/URL’s "Rookies vs. Vets" late last month, Chess spoke with BattleRap.com to recap his performance.
Despite throwing up during the first round, Chess was still able to continue with the battle and put out a strong performance.
“First round I was going in, pulled some bullshit [and] threw up, you feel me? I was just drinking water and when I started battling, shit just got caught and then I just started throwing up mad water in the back.”
DNA spoke with KonArtistFilms following the battle to recap the match as well as weigh in on the event as a whole.
“Some shit you can do in the small room you can’t do on the big stage,” DNA says. “That’s what it is.”
