Dizaster Predicts Winner For Hollow Da Don vs. Charlie Clips

We asked Dizaster to weigh in on the biggest match-up on the battle rap horizon.

L.A. veteran Dizaster has given his thoughts on what to expect ahead of the much-anticipated NOME 5 headliner between New York heavyweights Charlie Clips and Hollow Da Don on May 9.

What does he think will be the most decisive element in this high-profile meeting of minds? "The New York crowd, man. They're really crazy," he says. "It's gonna come down to whoever they feel they want to be their champion ... Whoever they decide they want the guy to be at the time, that's the guy until they decide to strip him of this shit."

He goes on to clarify that he believes Hollow to be a "way more advanced and more dynamic" freestyler, but says that Clips can be far more direct and accessible in his written material while Hollow "tries to go too far over someone's head ... you have to watch a certain basketball game to get a Hollow line. If somebody didn't watch that game, it's a wrap for Hollow."

He believes Hollow will win as a "complete battler," but does put that down to his own bias as well. Only time will tell who will be next to take up the mantle of King of N.Y.
