The first big U.S. battle rap event of Spring 2015 went down this past weekend and the Twitter and blog world is catching up by reacting to absolutely everything imaginable that went down.
The biggest battles on the card pitted Hollow Da Don vs. Charlie Clips and Tsu Surf vs. Tay Roc.
Shortly after the event the crowd spilled out onto the streets of Manhattan and media outlets, BattleRap.com included, caught up with as many of the participants as possible. RapGrid spoke with Aye Verb right after the event and got his take on the night as a whole.
"All the battles was pretty good, at least for a while," he said, after admitting that he himself had an off-day against K-Shine. "I personally like Roc and Surf. It was a close one. The crowd was a little more with Roc but Surf's material was better."
