Ty Law & B Magic Recap Their NOME 5 Battle

Both emcees speak on the small-room classic that BattleRap.com called the best battle of the NOME 5 weekend.

The day after NOME 5’s main card, the PG event went down at Black Star Music and Video in Harlem. The standout battle from that event was by far the clash between B Magic and Ty Law. BattleRap.com caught up with both emcees following the match-up to get their thoughts on how things went down.

B Magic On Ty Law Battle: “I Feel I Had More To Offer”

“It was definitely bar heavy,” B Magic says. “I feel I got it. I feel that I just had more to offer. That nigga was still a typewriter … I took it as serious as any other battle I write for. I take all my battles serious. I don’t care who it is, I just try to make it a [good] performance everywhere I go because people pay their money [to see it]. I take everything serious.”

Ty Law: “I Smoked B Magic 3-0 In The Room”

“I had a lot of over-the-head bars and still smoked him 3-0 in the room. On camera it’s going to be that much more deadly. We gon’ let the fans pick. That’s the beauty of a classic, we all win at the end of the day, including the people too.”

Elsewhere, Ty Law outlined what battlers he’s aiming for next.

“I’m gunning for Conceited right now,” he says. “I seen him yesterday [and] he was talking a little bit of shit. I wanna smoke him. See they talk shit and don’t take me though but I want Con next. If not Con, maybe Bill Collector too. He just came home talking about [how] I took his style but he never hit a haymaker in his life. He ain’t got no bars … I smoke him too.”
