Ill Will & Bigg K Recap “MASSacre” Battle

“I’m hearing I won,” Bigg K says. “Everybody’s telling me I got the first and the third.”

Despite a few last-minute cancellations, King Of The Dot still put on a strong and entertaining event with their “MASSacre” card that went down on May 17 in Holyoke, Mass. Many fans and spectators who caught the event have since been calling the battle between Pontiac’s Ill Will and Norfolk’s Bigg K the night’s best.

Ill Will Recaps Battle With Bigg K At “MASSacre”

Ill Will spoke with occasional BattleRap.com interviewer Rone following the battle.

“I told myself I wanted to have the best battle of the night, on my [King Of The Dot] debut, [and] I feel like I did that,” Ill Will says. “I feel like I had the best battle of the night. Back-and-forth, me and K, it was classic, man.”

Ill Will also revealed that the match-up between Bigg K and himself had been in the works, in some capacity, since the pair both left the SMACK/URL PGs three years ago.

“It was cookin’ for like three years,” he says. “We came out the PGs at the same time and people were automatically [like], ‘Ah, we gotta see this.’ And then it kinda faded, [then] came back, faded, came back. I had my ups and downs, he had his ups and downs and then here we are, man. I pretty much knew it would happen.”

Later in the conversation, Ill Will highlighted some of the other battles from the event.

“I liked Arsonal and Caustic, that was a real exciting battle. [K-Shine] versus Dirtbag [Dan].”

Bigg K: “I Got The First & The Third”

Following the battle, Bigg K spoke with 15 Minutes Of Fame Radio to discuss the match-up.

“That shit was crazy,” Bigg K says. “The energy in there was crazy. Shout-out to this crowd, this shit was crazy. Without the mics though, it was an issue because even when they’re going crazy, if I got the mic I can still rap over them and talk over them. But without that mic you can’t do it, so we had to keep stopping so our rounds that was three minutes ended up being like fucking six or seven.”

Weighing in on the result of the battle, Bigg K says that fans have been telling him he took the first and the third round.

“I’m hearing I won,” Bigg K says. “Everybody’s telling me I got the first and the third. They saying he got the second clearly and I got the third clearly and I got the first clearly. That sound like a classic to me. One thing I haven’t heard any person say was neither one of us got 3-0’d.”
