While at URL's "Rookies vs. Vets" on March 28, BattleRap.com caught up with Bishop Brigante to talk about the event and discuss his recently dropped battle against Arsonal from KOTD's “Blackout 5.”
Bishop Brigante says that according to the “rebellions” (as he calls Arsonal’s fans) he lost all three rounds but to him, he won the battle.
“I’m confident in my abilities,” said Bishop Brigante, “How I feel about the actual battle… I don’t feel like it was groundbreaking like life changing like oh my god holy shit but I had two ideas. I had two possibilities in my mind that could’ve happened.”
One, he said, was that he would become a part of the list of the failed comebacks. The second possibility was that he would keep up with Arsonal and compete.
Bishop Brigante says his material was better than Arsonal’s and that he won all three rounds.
“I feel like I’m back,” said Bishop Brigante, “So hashtag that, Brigante is back because I definitely feel I won the battle. It’s going to take you a lot to convince me as to why he won a round.”
