The Dirtbag Dan Show Was Pretty Insane This Week

Cadalack Ron gives a tour de force interview with anecdotes about being compared to a real-life "Drop Dead Fred" and boxing a man who once set himself on fire.

With the world of battle rap punditry as crowded as it's ever been, "The Dirtbag Dan Show" is no doubt one of the most raucously entertaining shows that we keep up with on the regular.

Even with that reputation this week's episode stepped it up a bit. With Cadalack Ron sitting down with Dan, Caustic and Skylar, the show quickly turned into a must-watch epic for battle rap fans hungry for some controversy.

From Cadalack throwing out some highly questionable and casually racist comments in the first minutes — "That's [the] cool [thing] about battling black people," he said, "you can just save it for next time" — to Dan completely botching an ad-placement for a marijuana-infused cold pressed coffee drink, the podcast was one of the most eventful ever in the show's 62-episode history.

Elsewhere Ron claimed that Michelle Obama is a man, opened up about drinking GHB — more commonly known as the "date rape" drug — before a battle, and spoke about being alienated from his family due to his drug use. (He speaks about his infamous "heroin" —err, Gatorade-in-a-syringe battle around the 14-minute mark.)

One of the biggest bits of new news though came late in the show (around the 53:00 minute mark) when Ron revealed that FilmOn's "Ether Weekly" has been cancelled. "It's coming from me," he said of the news. "I haven't gotten paid for all the times I went on Ether Weekly and I've been corresponding with the accounting firm at FilmOn Television to get my money."

Ron explains the reason for the cancellation in this clip:
