Brizz Rawsteen Recaps NOME 5

“My favorite battle was Charlie vs. Hollow,” Brizz Rawsteen says. “They lived up to the expectation.”

Despite not battling at SMACK/URL’s NOME 5 on May 9, Raleigh, N.C.’s Brizz Rawsteen still made the trip to New York to support the event and watch the battles.

BattleRap.com caught up with Brizz following Day 2’s PGs to get his breakdown on the weekend’s happenings. He spoke on his favorite battle and also offered some insight into who he wants to go up against next.

“My favorite battle was Charlie [Clips] vs. Hollow [Da Don], man,” Rawsteen says. “I’ve been looking forward to it and to me, they lived up to the expectation. It’s what it was supposed to be. They both was well polished. Charlie was cooking. Hollow was cooking.

“We been debating it all night [but] I can’t really decide [who won], man,” he adds. “If Hollow won it’s because he came out barking and his first round was crazy. [If Clips won] it’s because he had four to six bar rebuttals every round I think. And it was dope shit … He hard to beat, man.”
