Is Jae Millz Coming To URL?

"I'm just waiting for [Smack] to say that he got my $100K together," Jae Millz says.

More than a decade after his legendary SMACK DVD battle against Murda Mook, Jae Millz is (still) toying with a return to battle rap.

The 31-year-old Harlem rapper took to his Instagram account on Wednesday (June 10) and posted a screenshot of a back-and-forth with URL boss Smack White in which he offers up the possibility of a return in exchange for no less than $100,000. Smack, who responded, "That's a big number," also said, "I think it's definitely about that time."

Despite the recent development, the news isn't fresh considering Jae Millz has been looking for a cool six digits since at least August of last year when he told Jenny Boom Boom and VladTV, "I want $100,000. Anybody. It don't matter."

Jae Millz released his debut single "No No No" in 2003 and has been signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label for more than seven years. In that time, and like many of his Young Money compatriots, Millz has yet to release an album on the label, though he has put out a steady stream of mixtapes on the side.

Prior to his success as a recording artist, Jae Millz put in work in the early SMACK/URL years. The rapper's most famous battle came in 2003 against Murda Mook in a match-up that many fans still rate as one of the best ever.
