Anticipation was high for this release since it was the only major battle from the NOME 5 weekend that wasn't available on the live pay-per-view. URL opted instead to bring the match-up to a smaller setting at the legendary Black Star Video in Harlem as a headliner for the PG event, and people are pretty happy with the decision. After 24 hours, the battle has done about 75,000 views.
It's tough to call a winner at this point, but Magic does seem to be slightly tilting the scales on Twitter and in forum polls. YouTube commenters are siding with Magic more clearly. Those giving it to Law are crediting his creative punches and improved aggression, whereas Magic gets the edge from people who focus on his advanced flow and technical ability.
Regardless, most fans agree that the battle was close, and phenomenal, even if the crowd was occasionally overenthusiastic.
