URL Announces Full “Traffic” Card

In addition to Daylyt vs. Big T, the Los Angeles event sees Chess going up against Rum Nitty and Danny Myers battling Danja Zone.

SMACK/URL’s West Coast division has just let loose the full details for its forthcoming “Traffic” event, scheduled to go down in Los Angeles on Aug. 1. The card acts as the new division’s first-ever large-scale event following their launch back in February.

Here's the full card:

  • Daylyt vs. Big T
  • Chess vs. Rum Nitty
  • KG The Poet vs. B Magic
  • Danny Myers vs. Danja Zone
  • Steams vs. Young Kannon
  • Tink Da Demon vs. Diesel

The main event sees Daylyt facing off against Big T in a match-up that has been in the making since August of last year. The battle has added significance now that both battlers are on opposite sides of the "Writers Bloque vs. NWX" squabble.

There's also a Bloque-on-Bloque battle as Danny Myers takes on the red hot Danja Zone.

Event co-organizer KG The Poet follows up his performance against Head I.C.E with another big challenge, taking on St. Louis puncher B Magic, who has been on fire in 2015 in battles against Ty Law and Chef Trez.

Rum Nitty will square off with newcomer Chess, who is teaming up with Steams to take on DNA and K-Shine in a doubles match at URL's "Redemption" on July 26 in New York. Steams is also pulling double duty, taking on Chicago's Young Kannon in L.A.

The card also highlights some new talent, pitting Tink Da Demon against Diesel.

The event goes down Aug. 1 at Los Globos in Los Angeles. (The same venue where KOTD held V2R and BOLA 5). Doors open at noon and the battles are scheduled to go until 8:00 p.m.

In addition, URL will be hosting a West Coast Proving Grounds event the day before on July 31. The 14-battle card goes down from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Shambala Studios, 410 Bamboo Lane in Los Angeles, Calif. Admission for that event is $25.
