J-Pro & Avocado Recap "Back To Basics 2"

The organizers of KOTD's "Back To Basics" series spoke with BattleRap.com to break down the highs and lows from the June 27 event in Los Angeles.

Though the event was mostly smooth, they agreed that it didn't reach the high bar set by the first event and that the heat, the long breaks between battles and some lackluster performances prevented the day from attaining classic status.

"We need to stop being nice to everyone and giving everyone battles that doesn't necessarily deserve battles," says Avocado.
