Dizaster vs. Dumbfoundead Set For "World Domination 5"

Dizaster returns to Toronto in August for one of the biggest match-ups of the year.

KOTD just raised the stakes for "World Domination 5," announcing the biggest match-up on the card so far between Los Angeles rappers Dizaster and Dumbfoundead.

This marks Dizaster's return to KOTD's main stage, which he has been absent from since his title shot against Pat Stay in January 2014. (At this point, you already know why.)

Dizaster's official return to the league was at last month's "Back To Basics 2," where he faced Chilla Jones in a two-round battle that most fans say he either won or tied — probably the warmest reception Diz has had to a performance in some time.

The pairing means that Dizaster gets to scratch another name off his hit list. Diz recently told BattleRap.com that he's much more interested in light-hearted battles with opponents he likes rather than antagonistic clashes with people he wants to punch. This one definitely falls into that first category.

Dumbfoundead's last battle, against Wild N' Out star Conceited at KOTD's "Blackout 5," has proven immensely popular on YouTube, and is most likely going to hit two million views before any other battle released this year reaches the one million view mark.

The two have actually faced each other before, in a freestyle battle released on YouTube in 2006. Watch that battle here:
