Ahead of their battle at URL’s “Redemption” on July 25, Dot and Bill Collector traded some stinging shots during a recently released promotional video for the event.
Similar to Chilla Jones and Prep’s recent face-off, the two lyricists held nothing back: “Fuck this nigga, I’ma smoke you, dickhead,” Dot says.
When it was his turn to speak, Bill Collector took aim at Dot’s relative infancy within battle rap.
“What’s the difference between metaphors and real rap? Behind all these metaphors is real rap,” Bill Collector says. “I’m really gonna rap, dawg. I’m not dancing, I’m not fucking singing … Weak ass PG niggas, man. You’s a PG nigga. Brizz [Rawsteen] not even a PG nigga no more. [T-Top] not even a PG nigga no more. You are a PG nigga.”
Dot’s response?
“This nigga got no socks! The fuck he talking about? That’s the problem with these Philly niggas. They talk about they trap [but] they come here with no socks!”
