Bill Collector & URL Wage War In Interviews & On Instagram

Bill Collector goes at it with Beasley and Nunu Nellz.

After his battle against DOT at URL's "Redemption" in July, Norristown, Pa.-based emcee Bill Collector has been waging a war of sorts against the URL. Bill has relentlessly attacked the league's credibility and intentions in various interviews and blogs and it all came to a head with Beasley and Nunu Nellz responding in interviews and on social media last week.

After several blogs calling out the league, Bill joined Angryfans Radio for an interview on Sept. 9, complaining "[The URL] don't want to see me do anything that can revive my brand, they don't want to see me in power. I had T-Rex saying he would battle me, they were like 'nah we want to see you versus K-Shine or Danny Myers. K-Shine and Danny are the shit right now.'" Further elaborating on how he felt the URL was setting him up to fail opponent-wise, Bill said, "Battle rap is a popularity contest, it's like being back in high school, that's why I hate this shit, [Danny Myers and K-Shine's] popularity is way beyond mine, I just came home [from jail]."

URL boss also Beasley took to AFR separately to address Bill Collector's issues directly. In response to the accusation that offering Bill battles against K-Shine and Danny Myers was a setup, Beasley asked: "Why do emcees battle? To get popular, to show that they're better, so you mean to tell me that cause you think K-Shine, or DNA, or Danny Myers is more popular than you, you're mad at the league who's offering them to you?"

Addressing another issue of Bill's, Beasley also spoke on the claim that the DOT battle was a setup for Bill Collector to fail, "If you felt this was a setup then why did you take the battle? You weren't forced to take the battle. You were offered the opportunity, you took the money and you accepted the challenge." Beasley went on to say,"If it goes against your moral code and you thought I was doing something wrong the whole time to hold you back, why did you accept the money and do the deal? If you do something against your moral code as a man, essentially you're a prostitute."

The interview took a more serious and emotional tone when Beasley spoke of some of the more personal things he has done for Bill, saying "When Bill Collector was on the run and needed somewhere to stay, I let him sleep on the couch, I put money in his pocket."

Shortly after Beasley's interview dropped, Bill Collector responded directly to Beasley's statements in his own blog. "Yeah I lived with you, yeah y'all was like family to me dog, you dig what I'm saying, yeah you helped me out in a lot of different situations. You turn around and stab me right in the fucking back."

Bill went on to say, "Then you were on the phone again with another motherfucker telling them how you wasn't going to drop my battle until DOT got better, cause it wasn't about Bill, it was about DOT and all this other extra shit, now you on the joint fraudin."

Then Bill spoke on Beasley making comments regarding him battling nobodies on smaller leagues,"Now that I'm off parole I'm not on contract with y'all weird asses, I could do what I want, I'm running around having fun. I'm showing all the little leagues love."

Throughout this back-and-forth, Bill was also trading shots with URL staff member Nunu Nellz on Instagram.
